Finish school, enter a university then find a job which is slightly connected with your diploma… That is typical and imposed by society course of events for most Russian youngsters . But do they really want to get a higher education ? And how serious and responsible they must be at the moment of choosing a university?
On the 3rd of November I conducted an online survey on the subject «The issue of higher education» . Students of Tula , Moscow and Saint Petersburg took part in it.
The first question was :
"Are you satisfied with the university you have сhosen?"
The research has showed that the girls were more responsible while choosing the university to enter . Only 25 % of girls aren’t satisfied with the university they’ve chosen.

However boys, in most cases are unhappy with their choice ,only 37,5 % are satisfied and 62,5 % are not .
The second question was :
"Would you like to change the university?"
and the possible answers were : «Yes» «No» «It's too late»
Most of the guys would prefer not to change the university , so 43,75% answered «No» , 18,75% answered «Yes» , and the average 37,5% of students answered «It's too late»

As we see the leading option among the males was the answer «It's too late» .
They have to to put up with the situation and study in the place that irritates them , because «It's too late» to change something.
So when you’re finding it hard to like what you’re doing, it’s important not to keep doing it. Otherwise , you can get used to it and you will deal with things that do not interest you for the rest of your life.
Let us turn to the third question :
"Would you like to give up the university ?"
the possible answers were : «Yes» «No» «I don't want to join the army»
Speaking about this issue I am going to take into account only the male’s opinion.
18,75% of boys answered «Yes» and the same amount answered «No» . The leading position was «I don't want to join the army». The research shows that most guys prefer to continue education at the disliked university rather than join the army.
It's widely accepted that many young men attempt to dodge the draft. They sometimes pay thousands of dollars in bribes to doctors or military officials to gain an exemption. They don’t want to lose a year willingly.
Due to the fact that most young people just put up with the circumstances we have unskilled professionals who are not devoted to their work.You can and should find enjoyment in your studies and work. Doing so is very valuable to your life in many ways, including greatly increasing your probability of financial success.
It is critical to distinguish between the job and the way you do it. This is important because every job has aspects that will be very unpleasant for you. You need to be able to get through them with a smile on your face.We all need to love life to fully benefit from it. Someone who is passionate about their job achieves more success in life. So, if you want to be a successful person you have to love what you're doing.
