Being a student hurts?
Early dark mornings, overcrowded public transport, angry faces around – this is the typical morning of an ordinary student. Days go into weeks and weeks are becoming years of unpleasant routine. All dreams about ‘funny student life’ did not come true. Whose fault is it?
Being a student myself, I dare say – we make our life boring ourselves. Yes, I completely agree that views of a freshman and a second\third year student are completely different. Yes, the older we are the harder it is to interest us. Yes, getting on well with lots of student tricks is practically impossible to make yourself attend classes. But in fact, there is a lot fun to have in the studying buildings. Then, still there are benefits of being a student too. All in all, you need to have your diploma – make the way of getting it as funny and interesting as you can.
More than a half of the University classes are so dull and even annoying that you told yourself you do not need them and you can definitely find something to do in order not to waste your time and even spend it with pleasure. What are you really doing when you decide not to go to the University? You stay in bed, spend a half of the day sleeping and then, when you finally get up you suddenly notice that the day is gone and you did completely nothing. Isn’t it that particular wasting of time? So, conclusion one – decide what to do instead of your classes. If you did not – going to the University will have more use than staying in bed moaning about boredom.
Lots of University teachers are elderly ‘experienced’ people. They are not ready to change their training technique because they strongly believe it is the best. They have no one to open their eyes. But remember, you are here to save the world or at least your group mates’ life. Taking into consideration that in our country ‘the teacher is always right’ it is a big challenge to make a hint that outdated books you use are not appropriate and to pass your exam afterwards. Conclusion two – do not be afraid to accept challenges.
People around you are complete ‘fools and nerds’? First of all, I will never believe you don’t have any friends in the University. Secondly – ‘fools and nerds’ are the best part of the student life. Have you ever seen a studying group without any person who is interested in being the best at the class only? It is very hard to change these people’s minds. Look at the positive side of this problem – you always have someone who understood the lecture better than you, someone who has done all the home task correctly so you can check your own right before the class. Conclusion three – try to find positive sides everywhere.
Dear students, try to make your life vivid yourself. Dark early morning? Turn on some loud good music, put on some bright clothes, have a good breakfast. Angry faces around? Smile at them and trust me they’ll smile back. Some dreams did not come true?  Dream more. Be positive. This is the key to success.
